What Do the VW Warning Light Colors Mean?
VW Atlas warning light symbols come in three different colors, green, yellow, and red. They basically operate in the same way that a stop light does.
When you see a green warning light, you’re good to go, a green light is basically just alerting you that something is on, like your daytime running lights for example. A yellow warning light means proceed with caution, but you’re going to want to get your car looked at as soon as possible.
A red warning light means there is an emergency, and you’re going to want to pull over your vehicle immediately at the closest safe spot. When this happens, your best bet is to get your vehicle towed to a service center to be looked at.
